Exbel is the first released region of PMU. It is the region that you first appear in after the tutorial. Exbel is the easiest region with most of its dungeons being for the low level ranges. It also holds the honor of being the only region where events are held.

You can fly to Exbel from the center of The Sky.

Dungeons[]

Notable Locations[]

Crossroads[]

The Crossroads is the area immediately south of Grassroot Town where players spawn after completing the tutorial. It is also the default spawn for all players.

Grassroot Town[]

Grassroot Town is the sole town in Exbel. It contains nearly all the services and shops in the region.

Team Elemental Base[]

Team Elemental's base is west of Grassroot Town, below Sunny Hills. The player's inventory must have 19 items or less to enter. It's the headquarters of a team consisting of a Simisear, Simisage and Simipour, respectively named Kika, Iwa, and Miza. They let the player take an egg of either Pansear, Pansage, or Panpour. You cannot obtain another egg besides the one you do get.

Faded Meadow[]

Faded Meadow

The Faded Meadow is located far west of Grassroot Town and north. It contains the Faded Relic, and players can evolve their Pokémon there if they have an Engraved Tablet Engraved Tablet from Cliffside Relic. A Kangaskhan Storage and Chimecho Assembly are assembled just below the Faded Meadow.

NPCs

000-a Rory: Only you will know when you're truly ready for the mysterious process that is known as evolution. Once it's your time, you will realize it.

042 Gawky: Gah! Why do I always forget my soothe bell! Good thing this storage statue is near!

Jail[]

The jail, located directly northeast of Grassroot Town, serves little purpose in the modern PMU. It is however located next Jailbreak Tunnel.

Forgotten Cave[]

The Forgotten Cave is a cave can only be accessed with a way to cross water.

Although this area is available to access, it is completely void of any NPCs and items. The interior consists of cobwebs, some furniture and small patches of water. There is a path leading north but it is blocked off by a barricade. The area has darkness and will have cloudy weather.

Drowsy Hollow[]

Drowsy Hollow appears to be a wooded settlement inside a cliff for a team called Snooze Serenade. It has the members of the team, an Assembly post and Kangaskhan Storage statue. Drowsy Hollow is located in Exbel Coast behind Pitch-Black Abyss.

NPCs

446 Effie: Mmm... Pecha... (She seems to be dreaming about... Pecha Berries? How odd!)

518 Fennel: Drowsy Hollow is where we built our base. You're welcome to stay, we don't bite. This is where we chose to reside, even having our own storage and assembly areas!

293 Melody: W-welcome to Drowsy H-hollow! T-this is the b-base of the S-snooze Serenade.

266 Silvan: Drowsy... Hollow... Our... Base... I... Love... It...

162 Twitch: Delite... Plaza... (A weird dream, perhaps in the Delite Plaza back at town?)

The Hidden Garden[]

The Hidden Garden is an area with lush greenery, east of Pitch-Black Abyss. The player can enter it with the restriction of only having 1 item. Inside of The Hidden Garden, the player can use a Floral Key Floral Key to access a room with Honey Honey, and using it spawns a level 5 Comfey with 100% recruitment.

Secret Cave[]

The Secret Cave is south of Mt. Barricade's entrance. The player can enter it with the restriction of only having 1 item. Inside of the Secret Cave, the player can use a Heart Key Heart Key to access a room with Honey, and using it spawns a Jangmo-o with 100% recruitment.

Pillager's Cove[]

Pillager's Cove is a rest stop and the refuge used by boss of Seaside Cavern—Captain Kingler. It's located at Exbel Coast southwest of Exbel.

In the main room, checking the leftmost table from its left gives the text "The stench of the decaying food is making you nauseous..." and checking it from its right gives the text "You've seen Grimer trails that look more edible than this stuff!". There are two "Wanted" posters for Captain Kingler on the walls that read "WANTED OUTLAWS: 1.5 Million Poke Captain Kingler and his right hand man, Shifty Slowpoke.
-the list goes on- oddly though, there seem to be many notes of admiration....
"
. Near the left entrance is a barrel. When examined from the top, you get the text "No good could come of this stuff...".

There is a hidden room that can be accessed by using rock smash on the fragile wall by the bridge. This leads into the private quarters of Captain Kingler which is filled with unobtainable treasure. Besides this, a diary, a book and an autobiography of himself that were all written by him and some photos of himself (one of him standing on a mast draws the player's attention) can be found in the hidden room.

South Outpost Island

South Outpost Island[]

The South Outpost Island can be accessed after beating Mineral Cavern. It has a Kangaskhan statue and Chimecho Assembly post. There is also a rest stop for 3,500 Poké Poké. The entrance to Southern Sea is here and the path to Archford Cove across the water, which has the dungeon Crescent Islet and is how players must gain initial access to Greenport Town and Archford.

If Southern Sea has been beaten, you can come straight to here using Surf on the dock near the entrance to Mineral Cavern.

Houses[]

Skitty's House[]

NPCs

300 Skitty: I have been trying really hard to get that tablet...

Kai's House[]

NPCs

419 Kai: 'Sup dude! You new to Exbel? There's a pretty rad dungeon called Mineral Cavern south from here, you might have to cut down some shrubs though. Yo, maybe we'll meet while I'm excavating crystals!

There are bookshelves at the top left of the house that mention dungeons in the game.

You go to pull a green book off of the shelf...
"Mt. Moon"
Located in the northern area of Archford, Mt. Moon is a popular tourist attraction. The beautiful scenery draws in Pokemon, however the mystery dungeon itself can prove to be quite difficult. Countless treasures are said to be found here, however they are guarded by many wild Pokemon. At Mt. Moon's moonlit peak, you may find youself facing Deoxys. Take great caution when exploring this area.
A blue and grey book on the shelf sticks out to you.
"Sky Fortress"
Not many have reached the fabled Sky Fortress, but legends say there are three legendary birds that reside at the peaks. Rayquaza is speculated to dwell here as well.
You grab a dusty, brown book in the shelf...
"Tanren Chambers"
One of Tanren's most ancient sites contains the entrance to the mysterious Tanren Chambers. It has been around for so long, there is an extensive amount of documentation on all its type-based Chambers. Many see it as a difficult feat to clear the Mystery Dungeon in full, given that it has the power to not allow explorers to bring items.
There are dozens of books on this shelf... You decided to grab one and open it.
"Harmonic Tower"
Far off the western coast of Exbel, there is a tall tower. Given the name "Harmonic Tower", it is considered a home for many species of Pokemon. Many species are drawn to it due to the mystical nature and the protection it brings. Many rescue teams strive to reach the tower's rooftop in search of valuable treasures. Harmonic Tower is also the only recorded habitat of the Pokemon known as Bagon.

Beach House[]

The beach house is a building located in the southern part of Exbel, along the coastline near the entrance to Seaside Cavern. In the beach house, an Oshawott lives inside.

NPCs

501 Oshawott: Hey... Do you like collecting things on the beach? If you can bring me five Shoal Salts and five Shoal Shells, I can make you a Shell Bell.

The Shell Bell Shell Bell is a held item that restores HP when dealing damage. Shoal Shell Shoal Shells and Shoal Salt Shoal Salt are ID items, meaning they show up for players with certain in-game IDs. Some will see Shoal Shells, and others will see Shoal Salts. Both of the shoal items can be found in the dungeons Southern Sea, Beach Bunker, and Sandy Shallows. If the player has five Shoal Shells and Shoal Salts in their bag, they can then return here and have Oshawott create them a Shell Bell.

Turtwig's House[]

Turtwig's house is to the east of Wildfire Hills.

Entering allows the player to receive a Big Pearl Big Pearl, after completing the dungeon for the first time.
  • Turtwig: Oh, it's you! The explorer who saved Budew! I'm so glad you came by!

  • Turtwig: If you do not have an inventory space open, feel free to make use of the Kangaskhan storage here.
  • Turtwig: So, what do you say? Will you take the pearl now?
latest?cb=20220503233255&format=original No
